NetPark
NetPark is the North East's foremost science and technology research park situated at Sedgefield close to the City of Durham.
Developed in conjunction with County Durham Development Company and Durham University, Netpark provides accommodation for start up businesses at the Netpark Incubator and also provides a base for Durham University's centre for advanced instrumentation and Institute for Agility and Digital Enterprise Technology. Together, those buildings account for around 50,000 sq ft of space. 2006 will see the construction of Incubator 2 to provide further grow on space and a new building for the Centre of Excellence for Nano Technology, Micro Systems and Photonics (Cenamps).
Also planned is a new innovation village providing small stand alone units of between 2,500 & 5,000 sq ft for companies who have outgrown their space in the Incubator.
